Here’s the description again , because I’ve explained it to other Oiler fans,,, over the last 2 years in particular most of the breaks went the Oilers way , this year not happening, going against you, other point at the start of the series the coaching staff were probably expecting another team like the Kings , big mistake, the Ducks are the opposite they can score anytime , run and gun, and defence is optimal , and they have a goalie , who makes the big save when needed,, then there’s coaching , coach Q or your coach ? The answer is clear, and there you have it! The Oilers are lucky the 1st game went your way cause it could have been a sweep! The goal was going to be allowed by Toronto anyways , don’t leave the game in the zebras hands!

For the last three years the NHL has not allowed Edmonton to win a Stanley cup, both final series versing Florida have a ridiculous amount of penalties missed and ignored to give oilers a power play but then minor infractions called against the oilers often retaliatory. Multiple goalie interference calls missed against stu skinner with Marchand and Bennett purposely trying to injure our goal tender just blatantly ignored. After watching last years finals and feeling the bias I have known that the oilers will never win a cup. They will not allow it to happen. Then for the dog shit young ducks team to beat us in the first round is just the extra kick in the guts to break the oilers apart. The finishing blow to a would be dynasty. I’m not making excuses for this year, we as a team are not playing to our full potential but when you’ve been so close to greatness just to be robbed how do you continue to show up knowing the inevitable end will be decided for you. #riggedbullshit

Off topic. ESPN should always use former NHL players for color commentary. There are plenty of NHL Hall of Famer‘s out there who want the job and would be excellent at it. Brian Boucher is one example of how much better the broadcast could be. Adding their personal insights on the grind that is the NHL playoffs. The NHLPA should step in.

Was running errands all over north side of the city for hours, not ONE flag on any vehicle.
I’d been okay with it if they would have called it no goal on the ice because no refs seen it, or blew it dead because they lost the puck. Reviewed it after and if they seen it in, or was geometrically in, circle past line, although the line is painted under the ice and is blurred anyway and not accurate? Called a goal after review, that would be better.
The refs huddled up because they all had a bet on 365😂
