Dostal obviously had a bad game but we only scored once and defensively we did not come out ready to play tonight, while Edmonton was on fire out the gate.

Edmonton has scored first every game this series, we need to change that in Game 6 and get the home crowd momentum on our side.

Tbh it feels like we either win this in 6 or lose in 7.

Makes sense! Change it up, slow EDM momentum, basically a free time out. Husso did great.

Well yea the whole team forgot how to play hockey. It woke em up but the oilers were the better strategized team tonight. I hope they can pull off a win Thursday but this team is not good in high pressure situations.

If youve watch the Bruins/Sabres series this exact thing happened with Swayman last game (besides the fact swayman hadnt been a puck handling mistake). Bruins fucked him so they pulled him. Its not unusual

Husso played pretty damn good at least. At least if shit goes south we have him.

  6. I think this is the right call. He’s gonna come to play

  7. mighty_X_threat_0630

He’ll start but I think on very short leash. If that first shot goes in again he’s pulled probably

Please no we cannot put ourselves at an early disadvantage again. Start Husso

Husso played better than Dostal, not only on that disastrous first.

  10. If we lose Thursday at home season is probably done, this team will collapse under pressure especially an away game with a healthier McDavid and Draisaitl.

If the team shows up to play then Dostal is good enough to get the W.

glad that our coach is smarter than half the posters here

I’m a huge Lukas believer but wasn’t a fan of his interview when he mentioned not caring about giving up the 1st goal. Not what you want to hear from your #1 goalie and of course it instantly came back to bite him.

I hope he bounces back and proves me wrong but imo
Starting Husso would be the more solid choice and could be the better wake up call to the rest of the team to start on time.

  14. “We’re on to Cincinnati” vibes from Q and I’m loving it

Edmonton came into a must win game while we were riding the high of an OT win at home. If you delete the first period we got the edge.

Just need the pond/ponda center be hyped and charged up to give our energy to our boys

  16. I have a feeling Dostal is going to have an incredible bounce back game on Thursday. I refuse to believe otherwise.

  17. This series would be over by now if Distal was playing average goaltending.
