If Tampa loses game 6, watch the fans stand up and give the Champs a standing O for the past two seasons. They deserve it, despite the quick 1st round exit to a fine Toronto club.
Even though I have been critical of horrible ESPN2 coverage with that female in the booth, a 'thank you' is in order for having Ryan Callahan doing the color instead. I could actually watch and enjoy the game. 👍👍
Tampa's problem is Jon Cooper. The 2nd line Killorn – Cirelli – Point haven't scored a single goal while playing together in 5 games. It's a horror show! The 1st line is not scoring many either. Cooper needs to put Point back in Kuch's line and Palat in line 2. Meanwhile in his postgame interview Cooper said that he's satified with his team's scoring and that they need to work on preventing Toronto from scoring. This doesn't make any sense for a team who conceded on average 4 goals per game in 5 consecutive games against the Leafs and who face elimination. The only way for the Bolts to win the next 2 games is by outscoring Toronto, which means they need to score 4 or more goals per game. But Cooper doesn't seem to understand this.

The moment the 3rd Tampa goal went in and the camera hits Austons face lookin the way it did you could tell he wasn't gonna let this happen. It was like a foreshadowing.

A well deserved win after a hard fought effort. I saw the score ticker 3-4 and thought the leafs just lost by one before watching the entire highlight so I was jumping when matthews scored the last goal. It was pretty tough to stay optimistic after the bolts got off to another quick start. Another win and off to another round and the roller coaster of anxiety starts all over again.
Alright not leafs but I'm happy for them. Now all they have to do is close out the series. Easy right…?
