  1. 2 years of cup finals has the oilers out of gas. bow out early get a good long rest and heal up for next year.. oh and as i oilers fan can you do me a favor… FIRE BOWMAN for the Jarry trade ALONE.

  2. When you extrapolate where the puck is in relation to the line, it's easy to conclude this is a goal. The only question is, are you allowed to extrapolate in a situation like this?

  3. The overhead poor pixelated TV cam is irrelevant. The in-net camera is what matters, and it showed white space between the puck and the goal line. Same as what Poehling saw when he skated by and immediately raised his hand in celly.

  4. Pretty solid chance no Canadian teams make it to round two. False hope, every year? You bet. Habs fans in particular fairly hilarious.

  5. Regardless of the outcome of this game or series, the reality is that the Oilers would not make it past the next round.

This team would have won the Cup 2 years ago if they had proper goaltending. Last year was a mirage and this year was reality.

The GM is to blame. Everyone knows the weakness has been goaltending and defense but they never addressed it. They couldn't make any moves to fix their defense because they had zero cap space. Their window was closed last year. This team needs a full culture change. The GM should be fired along with their coach.

As a Canucks fan, I dislike the Oilers but if McDavid wants to win a cup, unfortunately I don't think it will be with the Oilers.

  6. With Tampa winning in Montreal tonight and the Oil losing in Anaheim, the odds of a Canadian-based team winning the Cup this year took a real dive.

  7. hey jojny jackey, the oils have donenothing all year, and now u ask will they do a miracle comeback??? get a life with ur d000mb questions

  8. All of Canadas hopes could be over 1st round.. Oilers can't be counted out,& Habs tied 2-2 but it'd be hilarious if both lost.

  9. "That's probably in" is not conclusive. The ref didn't call a goal so how it 'stood' as the call on the ice is beyond me. I hate the Oilers, but i believe they got robbed. How many times have you saw a goalie catch the puck over the line and it gets ruled "inconclusive" but we know it was over?

  10. Oilers fans are confusing how the NHL Situation room determines if a goal was in or not. Many fans are incorrectly saying they need to see unobstructed proof the puck was in the net (aka, white between the puck and goal line). That, however, isn't how it's done. Instead, the threshold is "definitive proof". Definitive proof can be determined using video footage and deploying computer measuring software with math and geometry to determine if the puck crossed the line. It was a goal.

  11. Ryan Poehling has been a force for Anaheim all year! We have such great depth i love to see everyone of our men out there on the ice 😀

  12. It was in all day, the Oilers have proven again that they don't have what it takes to win the cup. In order for them to come back, they'd have to win 3 in a row, which they've only done twice all season long. Maybe a blessing in disguise, time to clean house and get rid of the has beens. Nuge, Hyman, walman, Ekholm, nurse, nothing but passengers imo.😡

  13. This is also just a still shot of the last frame before the stick came in to hit it. It was still moving further into the net maybe another mm or so before the stick hit it out. It was in by about 2-5mm which is crazy

  14. Seems a little odd to me that all the super stars of hockey have these bang up seasons with their teams and then when their team needs them to save the day in the play offs they can''t seem to come through with any plays. Choke, choke choke.

  15. I’m oilers fan ,,I just started laughing. 😆 😂 I sad 😔 I need to drink some of the Canadian beer 🍺

  16. Okay was it in probabley , however the rules state it CLEARLY needs to be in. Your just guessing cause of the way the line is but thats not clearly

  17. The Oil had their chances to win the cup the last two years. This 2026 team is not as good as those teams – how many people really think the Oil could win a series against Colorado, Dallas, Minnesota or even Utah? AND then could they even beat ANY of the 8 teams from the east? They would have a very hard time beating Ottawa, who got swept. So let's not be surprised that the Ducks are ahead. The Oil can probably scrape into the play-offs for 2 or 3 more years, but they will just be first round losers. Maybe time to deal McD and Dry for draft picks and start the rebuild.

  18. If common sense was applied back in 04 like it was here Calgary would have had a cup. I dont see anyone arguing its a goal, its the process of events and the inconsistencies of situations like this that have people frustrated. I dont know if I've ever seen a situation like this where no goal was called, review suggests otherwise, refs then call good goal and then confirm upon review. Now the problem will be when a similar situation happens and its called no goal even though common sense will suggest otherwise

  19. You’d think that Toronto would have the technology to super impose the puck and the line…🤷‍♂️
