A team of 3rd and 4th liners made it to the playoffs. Be thankful and ignore the local media. Build off a success, but acknowledge our errors and holes, fill them before we waste our minimal core. 🐻💛

Swayman couldn't bail us out for that long. He and Pastrnak were great. I love how Khusi and MInten played and Aspirot was promising. WE SHOULDVE FUCKING STARTED HAGENS DUDE. GREAT WAY TO JUST BURN A YEAR ON HIS ENTRY LEVEL DEAL.
We have lost NINE straight home playoff games in series where we have lost the series (which excludes the 2024 toronto series). And overall, in the past four playoff series, we've gone fucking 2-11 in our past thirteen home playoff games. We gotta figure shit out at home man.
At least, we weren't expected to be in this position by any means. The Sabres were clearly the better team. We still have the draft lottery to look forward to (Please toronto do not win the lottery and one team behind toronto win one of the two lotteries so we get the #6 overall pick). We are also getting a few picks in the next few years, was a positive season overall but the way we played at home this postseason after how we did at home in the regular season was so fucking pathetic.
The bruins are an embarrassing franchise right now. Before the series it was all about how the big bad bruins were gonna bully their way and use their experience. They clutched and grabbed, interfered, and played dirty the whole series and still lost. Getting outscored 13-3 at home. Pathetic.
Love zacha's game overall but damn he disappears in the playoffs. 32 games is a big sample size. Also 73 isnt captain material.
Bigger stronger more physical worked out well
Defense was atrocious, turnovers were atrocious, Geekie went ghost, Zacha went ghost, Swayman played lights out and was failed, and we were the ONLY playoff team this season without a captain which made zero sense. Kudos to the Sabres for being the better team but man if Sweeney doesn't get us defensive talent he should be fired. Wasting Swayman's prime.

Relying on "lucky bounces" is pathetic. That's the adversity. I've seen too many players not rush a puck, not rush a play, and too many guys standing around waiting for a pass. Set plays aren't a sure goal, and it's so annoying that guys will waste energy finding a pass over a shot!
Retool year bringing in youth after losing most of the old guard. 100 point season, playoff experience, and you can see the culture being built by Marco. Need more scoring somehow but it’s a good start. Can’t be top of the chain forever ppl. Hope someone from 6-10 jumps up in draft (other than FLA) and #6 pick coming to B’s too. Big day May 5.

Sturm proved himself getting what he did from this roster during the regular season. When the tough got going the team didn’t show up with the effort needed for the playoffs. Swayman and Arvidson were the exception aside from Pasta
I didn’t know too much about Sturm other than as a player but watching his post games during this series I’ve gotten immense respect for the guy. You have to love somebody who loves his job. He loves where he is, despite the situation. I love the Sabres, we’re rolling, but the B’s are in good hands with him at the helm.
Whether its an over acheiving team like this year or its 2023 and the best team.on paper the league has ever seen, the bruins camt make it past the 1st round. Its a culture problem. Fire sweeney.
