@Red Wings de Détroit

  1. « Global investment firm » means « out of business and liquidated in five years » so we might be free.

If you don’t think, after hearing about this, that Chris Illitch is already on the horn with a potential replacement on the Wings jersey, I have oceanfront property to sell you in Nebraska.

  3. magikarp-sushi

God please. And don’t replace it with something just as bad take your money and run

why is garbage collection rife with so many issues in southeast michigan? first republic (iirc), then gfl, now priority

  5. Noice!!!! best news ever! No more hurdles next year, we got this!¡!!!

  6. Normal_Paint_4648

I don’t know why Chris didn’t just decide to do Meijer for the tigers, AND the wings. It’s one of the biggest Michigan based companies, and it’s better than the garbage patch.

TPG probably won’t get rid of the patch sponsorship tbh

  8. dudewithchronicpain

Anyone thinking the garbage patch will be gone next season is probably kidding themselves

  9. YetiWayne

Yzerman saw this news and signed Chiarot to an additional 5 year extension

Red wing shoes should be the only call. Sell it to them for a dollar.

  11. petoskey_stone

Removing the patch would be better than any on-ice addition Yzerman could make

  12. IceTheBountyHunter

A bit late, they already tainted every 100th anniversary jersey with that crap.

Good. Maybe I will actually get my new fucking garbage can that isn’t broken now. Oh and maybe my trash will all be picked up in the same day. One can hope.

Bro so many detroit companies to choose from and we chose the garbage patch. I hope this is true and we get someone detroit or michigan centric

It was a « multi-year partnership » that went into effect essentially March 2024. I won’t what multi-year really means and if they’re stuck or have a way of getting out of the deal. Hopefully both and they go away, ha.

But let’s be careful what we wish for. Happy to rid of the people complaining about the priority curse but if we end up with some hanky sponsorship or something like Emirates we could have some serious monkey paw situations soon. Guessing if we win people will go back to not caring, though.

« Garbage Patch Era »? I like to refer to this period as « The Rasmussen Years ».

  17. whatsyanamejack

I wonder if this is all because of that video of a Priority garbage truck dumping garbage juice in the middle of a road. Well regardless, let’s hope for the best!

Can we get a Red Bull sponsor? It would be perfect. « Red bull gives you Wings! »

I’d be ok with just a little Caesars logo white/red silhouette but nothing crazy huge. Just something subtle emphasizing the logo and not the stupid ad.
