Dangle et les garçons choisissent le vainqueur de leur série. Bien sûr, nous savons qui le producteur Drew a choisi.

Whole panel feels like they didnt watch us at all and went off the box scores which look close, but the Avs had complete control the entire time. They all pick the Wild because I believe of recency bias and the Avs not being on TV for a whole week. This panel are acting like the Wild are the Avs and visa versa in how they talked about them.

The Avs even strength dominance is going to be a rude awakening for the Wild and the Avs have show they can play a full defensive game if needed.

Wallstadt is great and all but sometimes with rookie goalies the longer a playoff run goes sometimes the adrenaline rush of round 1 starts to wear off.

  2. They have been dismissing the Avs defensive dominance all season. I saw a comment yesterday from a Wild fan where they said Avs had it too easy all season, hadn’t had any adversity. 👀

I don’t think winning 55 games, having a target on your back as the team to beat, sending 8 guys to the Olympics, and dealing with some critical players injured is enough adversity.

Picking Minnesotas defense over the defense that was top ranked in almost every category possible this season is… A choice. And not mentioning Josh Manson in the D lineup.

Steve Dangle talked about how the Wild were built specifically to beat the Stars but would get wrecked by the Av’s in the Stars vs Wild preview, but talking about how they’re built to beat the Avs in this preview.

I like this podcast for the entertainment, but man you can tell when they don’t know shit about certain teams.

Meh, let’s talk once the teams actually hit the ice

What all these talking heads seem to be glazing over is that DallASS was awful 5v5 all season. The Mild did a FANTASTIC job taking advantage of that. The Avs are a different animal at 5v5.

The more they talked the more apparent it became that they don’t know wtf they’re talking about.

Before they went « pro podcasts » they were decent and entertaining but had to stop watching them a year or two ago.

After they quit their jobs and went full-time podcasters, they went full « THE LEAFS ARE EVERYTHING AND HERE IS HOW EVERYTHING IN THE LEAGUE AFFECTS THEM », and « clickbait hot takes from the west, which we actually never watch. »

Both drive clicks, from enough people on both sides of the league that I guess it pays the bills, but it just got …old.

Their defensemen are all 7th Dmen on the Avs outside of the first pairing. But they know how to be physicial – the defense of Minnesota isn’t even close to the Avs – it’s laughable that they’d give Minnesota the Defense edge.

But they are right that the Wild are going to try and win by beating the Avs into a pulp – and their 2nd and 3rd D pairings are very physical. ESPECIALLY because they know our PP is ass. Might as well commit some crimes because they know we can’t convert.

We are definitely going to want Manson back for this series. I predict that our second line is going to shine and Cale is going to show that he is clearly the better between him and Hughes. I also predict that we are going to lose a couple of guys to injury early on this series.
