Good analysis on the Oilers honestly. The McDavid and Draisaitl exit interviews were raw and honest. McDavid and Dickinson playing with fractures. Oilers need a nice long offseason to recharge and to be frank Stan Bowman needs to be fired and Knobs should be on a very short leash.
Yeah, the injury is why they lost the first round, not being an absolute bum franchise. Also, you only have one year with McDavid because the second year will be deciding on whether you trade him or not depend depending on how you’re doing. The duck series kind of reminds me, Edmonton versus Chicago and Chicago eliminated them.
No, it doesn’t make it easier. I’ve been an oiler girl since since the Oilers began, and I’m sick of them getting so far and then choking. And I don’t blame it all on the players a lot of it’s got to do with the staff that they have as well and the fact that we can’t seem to get a freaking goalie. They need a total revamp of the the coaches. Etc. just because you used to be an oiler doesn’t mean that you know how to run a hockey organization. Why don’t we get some outside people who maybe know what they’re doing like a goalie coach for instance
