Honestly, I love Sundin….even when he refused to be traded, I had no frustration towards the guy….but, I’m not sure I like this fit. This is probably a business decision because the owners (NOT Pelley) have meddled in the Leafs’ affairs for a very long time, and I believe that they will be looking to make some more decisions that will make fans even more frustrated. Having Sundin may soften the blow. It’s hard to hate the guy even if he starts making key decisions (ie trade Matthews and not get a fair return). With both Ottawa and Edmonton out and Vancouver on the rebuild, this is a good opportunity to start shaking up the roster. Unpopular opinion; but, maybe trade Matthews, Cowan and a second rounder to Edmonton for McDavid. Trade Rielly to Vancouver for a first and second rounder, since it’s his hometown. I’m tired of the losing. I’m tired of these Leaf players acting like spoiled entitled brats when we’ve had decades of failures and they think we don’t pay a shit ton for tickets and merchandise. And I’m tired of Leafs management not giving a shit about their fans. Look at the Canadiens. Anyways, hopeful for better outcome next year but, I’m not holding my breath

It’s bad enough we had him in a Canucks jersey beating the leafs in a shootout.
And Chayka ….. I don’t get how yo give the keys to the biggest franchise in hockey to a guy who hasn’t proven himself at anything

I’m 40 from Toronto, I love Mats. This isnt going to end well. Pelley will go down as one of the worst. The last 6 months has already been embarrassing enough. Pelley is hands on, over his head and out of touch.
