  1. I mean if we did quite literally the opposite of every move he recommended we’d have a contender in no time /s

  2. Radiant_Sherbert7272

Honestly, I don’t care anymore. This organization has repeatedly shown that they aren’t serious about winning and putting a winning product on the ice. Nothing is going to change until the brain trust in this organization undergoes serious changes.

  3. This REEKS of a Francesco list interview. Dorion was melnyks yes man ans was promptly fired when new ownership stepped in

  4. g0kartmozart

You just know this is Francesco’s guy.

Dorion is a big shortcut taker. He will tell Francesco what he wants to hear.

  5. Ew. No recycled GMs please. Lol, who am I kidding, this is Aquilini and the first question he asked is how quick can you get us back into the mushy middle. Fuck my life.

  6. amb1ance

This might be a worse hire than Chakya in Toronto if this goes through

  7. SpareEconomy1849

Ottawa and Vancouver exchanging trash for trash

  8. Aqua: how often have you been a yes man?

    Dorion: yes.

Aqua: pack it up JR we got our guy

  9. Upstairs_Bad897

If anyone thinks this is gonna be anything other then Aqualini trying to fast track a playoff birth let’s be real here.

  10. 80minMassageFor40min

How about we just sell the team

  11. Firestorm238

Legitimately I would be done with this team

  12. barelyincollege

Holy fuck, if Dorion gets this job, I’m legitimately switching teams. ChatGPT would have more a backbone than him.

  13. DidIMakeAGoof

Guy took Tyler Boucher because he thought he’d be the perfect 3rd liner.

  14. TurbanGhetto

“*Will work for food*” is the guy they are waiting on.

  15. boostsupreme

are the Aquilini’s even hockey fans? jesus christ.

  16. JazzGMster2020

Hey hey, I was kidding about Mike Milbury! There’s no need to one-up me.

  17. These old school GMs applying need to get the standard r/jobs treatment and get no reply when they apply

  18. 21marvel1

As a Canucks and Sens fan I wholeheartedly say….fuuuuck that shit. Pierre knows how to swing for the fences but that’s about it. Can’t develop, can’t draft, trades usually don’t work out… idk it’s just not a good idea at all

  19. JazzGMster2020

Yes! Hire him before the draft so he can lose us our first round picks too!

    Hilarious

  20. ForkliftChampiony

Lmfao i just read this on the Sens sub. Fucking don’t, that guy got us penalized for his professional negligence. Why did Vancouver even humor him with an interview?

  21. coldbrew40

fuck no brother. get aqua out of that damn room

  22. sasksasquatch

If he gets the job, I might need to take a break from the Canucks.

  23. Benning2064

This reeks of a Mr Aquilini interview/hire.

It amazes me that so many media members have said how other candidates are well respected throughout the league & are good people yet Dorion is also getting interviewed….

  24. Chionger

This is supposed to make me want to watch? Opposite effect.

  25. NikkahEff

If he becomes our GM, I quit being a Canucks fan, he’s the worst GM in modern day NHL history

  26. Emergency_Mall_2822

My favorite part of this dredging the bottom of the barrel is realizing Mike Gillis hasn’t had an interview in decades

  27. Emergency_Wolf_5764

Dorion is little more than a used car salesman.

If Aquilini hires him to take over as GM in Vancouver, that should remove any lingering doubt that the owner is actively sabotaging his own team with the intended purpose of destroying it, and is not a psychologically fit individual to be a sports franchise owner.

Anyone still buying tickets to go watch Canucks games is totally nuts.

    Next.

Can they please interview winners. Just winners with a long CV of winning. A proven track record of winning.
