The Pistons are purging some of the bad vibes in Detroit sports and that’s a great thing
It’s insane how Steve Dangle has such a personal feud with the Red Wings I can’t even watch his John Chayka video without having to see the random « Clayton Keller was drafted after Filip Zadina in 2016, Yzerplan ey » dunk with Dangle not even realizing Zadina wasn’t drafted in 2016, or that Yzerman wasn’t in Detroit until 2019 which was STILL AFTER ZADINA WAS PICKED IN 2018.
At this point he has to be commited to being the village idiot as a bid, there is 0 chance this is serious.
Edit: It doesn’t even stop there, he continues to rant about Detroit for another minute.
Edit: He even extensively talks about the Hayton pick in 2018… Which is why Zadina was still there at 6:th

Not sure if anyone noticed, but there were actually four more goals scored overnight in the Colorado-Minnesota matchup. The final was actually 11-8. More goals may come in before game 2.

What is your reasoning for your tier selection?
We all know Yzerman has to start making some major decisions with this roster. To me, it is still surprising that as a player and GM he put this type of roster in place. It has had too many like players. And it will take more than the coaching staff to get these players going. Some just need to be traded and call it a day with them.
I genuinely think this is a realistic forward group that should be enough to get us in the playoffs. I know we all want that big move but I don’t know how possible that is. I thought about putting EP40 there but it just doesn’t seem like a Steve move. Kent Johnson would be a nice young upside swing. We need more scoring in the bottom 6 and I think that 3rd line could really help with that.

Had to call off work this morning. I’ve been on the toilet and throwing up since 6:20 AM, going on hour three of this painful experience. I’m not sure what it is with my stomach and roast beef, but it seems to trigger my GERD the next morning. I just made the connection because the last time this happened, I had eaten a smoked roast the night before, and I smoked one again last night. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
I’m also mad I went to bed with two minutes left in the second period of last night’s game. Anyway, happy Monday y’all.
