Also Hurricanes Report on Instagram is the greatest account ever if you were wondering

  2. Honestly just happy they are taking this seriously for him. Plus, Mike Reilly played so well in Game 1.

  3. Dont need to rush his return. Get 100% niki, will need him 100% later on. LGC

    Rest up Nikki

  5. Ross_1234

This is Rod we’re talking about here, would not be shocked if Niki is in lol

As much as I’d love to see BOOM in as many games as possible, I am really glad the organization is not rushing him back.

  7. TLGPanthersFan

I am fine with this. Players have been picking up the slack.

  8. TheCaneAdian

That’s okay. Better to rest him for future than risk his health for marginal gain.

  9. Legal_Necessary9931

He didn’t know where he was last week. He can take a bit

  10. crippledgiants

I’ll miss him, but let’s get another 2 apples from Mike tonight!

  11. AgapeNCJoe

That doesn’t even worry me. The Flyers look like garbage and we should be out the window series easily without him. Let him rest.

Also worried about Walker but I assume he’s fine. He took a good hit behind the net with a minute or so left in game 1. He got up fine and kinda just glided off. Probably just got the wind knocked out of him though.

  13. Reilly looked great in game 1. Let Nikishin get fully better esp knowing it is going to be a physical series. Don’t want him taking another hit especially.

  14. Save him until he’s 100% ready, or a “break glass in case of emergency” scenario

Just watched someone fall to their knees in a Bojangles 50 minutes ago

Canes staff must’ve tuned into this subreddit and read through all of the expert medical opinions here that were kindly offered for free.

Never rush a concussion. Hopefully the Carolina’s don’t lose another great defender to concussions

I remember 20 yrs ago and what either Cullen or Whitney was going thru in their concussion recovery, and who ever it was continued to play! If we can let the kid rest and heal let him. He can be a key part of the future of the team.

I’d rather him rest for this series and be 100% for the ECF (assuming we make it) then push himself too much and not be operating at max capacity down the road when it’s tougher

  20. AJPtheGreat

That’s fine. We can beat Philly without him. Need him in round 3
