Honestly, it’s nice to see the Ducks getting some traction this round. So many talking heads picking Edmonton never made sense given how well the Ducks matched up against them.
I want to say the ducks aren’t winning. But if they play like they did in the first round and Dostal is locked in, they can win it in 5 or 6. This round all comes down to how Dostal performs.
How do so many think it’ll be VGK when they’ve lost to Ducks every game all season….

I’m kind of shocked that the opinions are identical to the Oilers series. Lots of excuse making for EDM and not enough credit due to the Ducks. Vegas did not look dominant through the whole series with Utah- they were pretty even from what I saw. Lots of 1+1 ≠ 2 thinking from the analysts IMO.

It’s pretty clear we gained a lot of respect from that first round. Can’t fault anyone for picking Vegas or the ducks though. This series is a toss up but ducks in 5 for me
I think it’ll be Ducks in 6. We lose game 1, come back and take game 2, win games 3 and 4 at home, lose game 5 in Vegas and win game 6 at home
Thinking the golden knights might win the series is reasonable but picking them in five is disrespectful considering that the ducks owned VGK during the regular season

Sweeping Vegas in the regular season I think is more of a mental confidence for the Ducks. The postseason team on both sides is different than both teams from the regular season as there were missing/injured players. I think our chances of beating them is better now
I think this series is going to be an absolute dog fight. Vegas vs Utah was quite a back and forth battle too. Hopefully Vegas is feeling a bit of that fatigue, while the ducks are a bit more fresh and recovered.
I’ve got this as Ducks in 6. Steal a game in Vegas, take care of business at home, and it’s a series.
