Last night wast not what I expected from a showdown between the two top defensemen in the world. Defense seemed optional on both sides.

This really needs to be addressed. Why does 2nd ranked play 3rd ranked in the conference playoff round 1? I’ve read it’s done to build « rivalries » but 1st plays 8th, so why not 2nd plays 7th and 3rd plays 6th?
I think this should definitely be changed. Either 1st or 3rd ranked teams will be knocked out while 4th or 7th will progress. Makes on sense, surely you want the best teams playing each other as the playoffs progress?

As a Stars fan, be careful, that type of thinking gets you beat by Stuart Skinner in the WCF 2x in a row.

At the very lease they should re-seed after round one. Keep the BS “rivals” if they want for round one but two shouldn’t be like this.
