  1. I'm hoping for a top 2 pick to get McKenna or Stenberg but if we end up picking 3rd or 4th we're top 2 D or Malhotra. So we'll end up getting a good player regardless!

  2. Im praying to Jesus for pick #2
Take the over thinking process out of KDs hands/head.
McKenna/Stenberg whichever player is left at 2, PERFECT. Lets go get em.

  3. No idea what has happened to Jack Bushman and Locked On Blackhawks. He seems to have disappeared. I've written to the Locked On organization in general, but no response. Hope he is okay. He always posted daily until about 3 weeks ago.

  4. I’m truly convinced that it’s Gavin or nothing , we need Gavin to take it to a playoff level. Then I watch a Stenberg video and I’m like we need Ivan or nothing . Seriously though if we end up getting 3 or 4 in the lottery what would it take to move up to 1st in draft capitol so we can get Gavin or even second to get the consolation prize?does a second rd.and another future pick like 2027 1st rd.or a player like lardis or Moore .does it take all of that capital to move to 1 and would you do it cuz I sure as fuck would for number 1 . Hopefully we win the lottery tomorrow and we get our man . Great video by the way

  5. Wouldn’t be too upset if they don’t land a top 2 pick, they have enough undersized forwards. They could use Chase Reid to really be a potential top pairing defenseman or possibly trade the pick, not the end of the world

  6. This is the breakdown the fanbase needed. 👍

Am I the only one not blown away by the tape on Stenberg? He looks like a solid hockey player but I don’t see anything that says “superstar” or even top line winger. I see nothing that can’t be countered by above average NHL defenses. Again, I like the player but not necessarily a top 4 like. I think there’s a good chance his countryman, Viggo Bjork, turns out as good or better.

I really like Reid. Show me a draft eligible dman without tape of them making mistakes under pressure. You can’t. Carels practically has a medley of such tape and he’s considered the “defensively responsible” option. Reid has the instincts and talents that the current blue line lacks. He will be ready to contribute in a year or two. The defensive pipeline is bare as of today.

I saw the same stuff Lee saw when watching Malhotra. I thought people were just desperately trying to hype up a center in a draft weak in that position. But his production can’t be denied. He’s been a menace in the OHL playoffs and probably the best player on his team which includes Marek Vanacker and Jake O’Brien. He’s young and can improve his skating. Still, I’d put him 4th, slightly behind Stenberg. (But I think there’s a good chance Bjork turns out to be the best center in this draft)

  7. Fans look too much at just highlights of these prospects and especially the Hawks prospects and automatically think they are going to be stars. Watch them away from the puck, defensively, the way they skate, do they burst for loose pucks, board play, body language, there is so much more than just highlight clips of them scoring

  8. 9:49 I was just about to comment "Gawd can you imagine McKenna winging for Bedard?" Lmao then Lee comes in with the: "I wouldn't even place McKenna on a line with Bedard." Damn man! 🤣

  9. I get the knocks on Malhotra but the last thing this organization needs is another right handed D that could top out at #2 in 5 years if you squint really hard and tilt your head. On this team that isn't physical whatsoever and doesn't play anything resembling defense I'll take my chances with the big resposible center whose floor is 3C.

  10. 1.) Mckenna
    2.) Stenberg
    3.) Reid
    4.) Carels

    Super set on this order.

If we take Reid, trade Rinzle and a decent amount of capital to get an immediate elite forward for our top 6, overpay crazy for someone like Anderson on a 2-3 contract to fill that spot until he’s ready.

If we end up 4 and take Carels, same idea but with Korch and overpay/sign a veteran LHD.

    This is the way

  11. I agree about Malhotra. Since we have 3 middle pairing (if korchinski pans out) left d. I think Davidson picks (if he doesn’t trade it) either Carson Carels or most likely Albert Smits. That is if we get #3 or #4 pick. If we get one or two I hope he can trade that and Nick Lardis for Jason Robertson. Probably not enough but a guy can dream

  12. this is why I would rather have stenberg. Stenberg is a finisher, that puts him ahead of McKenna in my eyes. but if we get him, I certainly won't complain
