The Canucks have been "preparing their top draft picks in the AHL-–SETTING THEM UP TO SUCCEED AT THE nhl after a couple of years in the lower level.Meanwhile other teams play their top draft picks and let them gain experience in the NHL —-AND THOSE PLAYERS—-IF COACHED WELL AND PLAYED ENOUGH are seasoned pros at 20-21 years old and set to improve year after year.Podkolzin is an example —-now at 24 is a seasoned vet that has a good + stat and is scoring more each year as he plays with better players.Canucks could'nt wait to ship him out and bring in lite-weight always injured Swedes.

  2. When Canada lost the gold medal game quads said, "the vibes were still high" LOSER LOSER AND MOVE OUT

  3. Ever wonder why
Canucks are the bottom end of the NHL thought patterns
Perhaps the NHL management dislikes the Canucks ownership
And then we have the local press trading the best team players on air
Press should realize these young kids sacrifice their lives and you guys get a job out of it

  4. As I said on the short, this Canucks draft lottery "luck" is not luck. Look at every past draft lottery, and see that in the supposedly "random" process, the Canucks have never gained position, only gotten worse or stayed the same. Calculate the odds of that happening, year after year, for decades. Aside from the fact that the lottery process is kind of absurd in general (it could be simpler and more logical), there is no way we can trust that this city will be treated fairly because under the Bettman mafia, it never has been. Not in draft lotteries, not in disciplinary proceedings, nothing. So let's just prepare ourselves for it being the worst position the NHL can legally hand us, which is 3rd; anything besides that is an unexpected turn of events.
Now, when it comes to the issue of the Canucks picking wisely and then developing players properly, that's a whole other issue.

  5. Better question: If you could guarantee (total certainty, no lottery) that the Canucks pick first in 2027, would you give up the chance to pick 1st overall in 2026? 🤔🤔🤔

  6. Chicago is most likely to win, followed by Rangers and then leafs. 10% of the time a 12-16 team wins it as well, which does give Canucks a top two. But until I see otherwise tomorrow night, Canucks are and will pick third, and I'll not be disappointed when that's what happens.

  7. Great show. This david kid is pretty good! What was this draft pick you mentioned at the end? I like to hear about canucks horror stories 😉

  8. Guys. Guys! Recency bias. Show me the credible scout who is telling you Malholtra is a bonafide No1 C. That is outrageous for a kid with 84 points, and those were padded on a stacked team. Remember, everyone thought Cole Cassels was a Calder Cup hero when he ruined Mcdavid’s run. What did that amount to? Overrated big name kid flopped.

  9. I told myself a few weeks ago best case scenario is probably Malhtra at third. I would be happy going into summer with that.

  10. It turns when someone turns the wheel… as a GenX I love the GenZ energy…

You guys are very intelligent and have the eff you energy 👌👍

  11. Just watch ownership fuck the fans and they get number one pick and then they offered to trade it and they accept the trade for the number one pick if they get it
