One of the few guys in Lightning who really wanted to win.

Man, I wonder what Vasilevskiy would’ve said if it was like DeBoer talking about Oettinger last playoffs…

Apples and oranges but it would have been a show because you can tell Vasilevskiy is a Coke bottle and a bizzare comment would be the Mentos.

Mf they held them to 9 shots in game 7 and they got two on you.

I agree with him 100%. Especially in terms of our big players. People giving kuch a pass but his numbers are abysmal in the playoffs. Not saying we get rid of him, but I am saying we need to have a hard look at ourselves this offseason. Also, regarding kuch, I wish he had more fire instead of acting like a whiny baby when he’s not playing well/things aren’t going his way. Toi may times I saw him non chalantly skate back to the defensive zone after a turnover in that series. It’s not just him, but he is our best player atm and was frustrating to watch in that series (IMO)

As a delegate of the Carolina faction, we accept and appreciate the compliment from Mr. Vasilevskiy. Andrei would be a welcome addition to the team.

  6. This is refreshingly straight forward, respect him even more after this. I wanted him out of the playoffs tho lol

I prefer the expression « game of inches ». That decides most close series.

I don’t disagree and don’t hate that answer. It’s just weird to me to pestes a team that hasn’t gotten through the second round in several years / attempts

I like Vasi alot. Good vibes, imo. This would be the opposite of my feelings about Cooper and Kuch.

Think they give Cooper another year before deciding if it’s time for a coaching change in Tampa?

I like Cooper, think he’s a heck of a coach..but its certainly off-putting to see the dude smiling so much after a loss and the end of the series . Seems way too comfortable to me

At some point you have to accept you’re no longer the top dog and this has nothing to do with the hockey Gods not being on your side. Tampa lost 6 times to Montreal just in the last month. Other teams are catching up and some have surpassed them already.
