Here before Oilers fans complain about Bouchard not being here

Werenski felt like the shoe-in until the Columbus implosion at the end of the season. Dahlin, on the other hand, went the other way. Granted, Makar could always win, cus Makar.

Bro the Oiler fan crash outs are going to be entertainment all day long thank you

  4. All 3 of these guys are very deserving, but

No Bouchard is a damn joke. In what world does the leading scoring defenseman not even be a finalist?

Werenski was pretty rough post Olympics as the Jackets began to fade, but his first 50 games was enough to sustain him. Makar is the new golden child where even if his underlyings dip, he won’t ever get dinged as long as the counting stats stay high. Dahlin, good for him

Reputation award. Meanwhile Werenski got called out by his coach for pulling the chute on the season after winning the gold medal.

This should hopefully quiet the discourse of the Norris exclusively being about points.

Anyone who thought Bouchard deserved it needs serious medical attention.

  8. As an avs fan Makar shouldn’t win this year, but I do think he deserves to be a finalist, especially with how good his defensive play was towards the end of the regular season.

Weresnki fell off a bit towards the end of the season. Give it to Dahlin

  9. Bouchard might not be Norris worthy. But he’ll turn a game from 2-1 final to 8-6s. I rather watch his shenagians and giveaways and 4 point nights

I will stand by that Jaccob Slavin is one of the best pure defenseman in the league

    Dahlin: 19G 55A 74P +18
    Hutson: 12G 66A 78P +36

    WTF am I missing here.

It’s nice that there’s no consensus winner. The fact that Hughes, Bouchard, Slavin, Hutson, Heiskenin, and Schaffer are not candidates shows how deep the field of defenders is.

Bouchard rolling his eyes at this (independently)

I didn’t think I’d ever see my CBJ get anything like this. I wasn’t following them as closely this season but I did go to the game in Denver against the Avs.

I just always expect pain and loss from them.

If Werenski wins it. I’m will guess that the writers are using the gold medal game as the example which is stupid.
