  1. Would literally anyone take Bouchard over Dahlin for a one to one trade?

Dalhin had just as many goals and is significantly better defensively. You are jabbering about a few extra secondary passes to mcdavid abd draisatl

  2. Trade Matthews, Nylander, Reilly, Stolarz and Carlo.
Then do a two year rebuild.
Trade down to the fourth pick plus a next year first and two seconds.

  3. Disregard the McKenna hype, this draft will be known for producing 2 stud dmen that the Leafs decided not to pick because they media and fan base pressured then into taking McKenna. The best thing that could’ve happened was the Leafs finishing 3rd and being forced to take Reid or Verhoef and they would be so much better for it then taking a soft undersized winger.

  4. Why pretend like they even have a choice, if they don’t pick Mckenna (even if he isn’t the class of the draft) the media and fans would roast them. Leafs on autopilot already

  5. Entire civilizations came and went in the time it took JD to answer the flipping question about who to take with the first overall pick.

  6. If Mr. Rogers is all about his ego and I am not saying that he is, he should deligate 100% and let the smartest hockey people do the work. Spend the money on the best and then let them operate 100 %. They win Cup and then Mr. Rogers is the ultimate hero. It would also be better for the economical element as well in the long term. I hope that Mr. Rogers will learn something from the great Ted Turner. May he Rest In Peace.

  7. So my question is, Leafs were hoping to get 5th spot so they could get their pick back from Boston, so do they get first pick plus the pick from Boston?

  8. Dahlins wife almost died and he lost his unborn child right at the start of the year and yet he went on to put up his best season. His defensive game took another leap forward. We have to stop talking about counting stats when one guy plays with Mcdavid and Drasital. How many points would Werenksi have with them?

  9. Take McKenna and begin the rebuild. There has to be a rebuild because there rot in that dressing room that’s infected the team spirit.

  10. I believe Mats title shelters him from any direct scrutiny and negative press. If the ship is going to go down John is going to take the brunt of it and then Pelly

  11. Bang on about the disconnect between d and o. The forwards are bad defensively – other than Auston who is being used like he is Bobby Holik since nobody else can do it. The d is defense only and can't move the puck. It is a bizarrely-constructed team. Berube also has no answer and doesn't know how to use this type of player. EIther he needs to adapt or they need to find a different coach.
