Again, this guy should’ve been fired after the Buchnevich trait look at that look at the players we got in the play and they got and put their stats together. Enough said that was moronic.
By any objective measure, the entire organization is worse off than 5 years ago. Not only did he destroy the Rangers, but the Wolf Pack is the worst in the league. Any small positives are simply noise. I have to think that if there isn't significant improvement this coming season, it will be his last.

Overall Drury was a good gm for a few years, but it is time to move on. The return for Panarin should have gotten him the boot instantly.
Dolan firing Drury at this point would prove that he himself, is the root of the problem (which any sane Ranger fan already knows.) Dolan has allowed Drury to take the team this far in this direction, he's 100% invested in this "re-tool".
Dolan is the problem with the Rangers.
The KINGS might not have wanted him after losing FIALA to Injury in the OLYMPICS ???? or they Possibly would paid more cause they needed him more now …. but maybe not cause Panarin only wanted to go to the KINGS , they probably found that out from GAVRIKOV, teammate friends, up the Grapevine ?????
But on Panarin trade , You don't know that DRURY didnt try calling g other teams and getting g him more $$$ & he only got $10 millin AAV for 2 yes …. NOT $11 MILLON !!!
And from what I heard it was PANRINS wife that wanted to go to L.A. and decided on that and that was that !!!! She did that with coming here to NEW YORK too !!!!

We got Carey Terrance for him , basically absolutely nothing !!! So regardless that teams knew we had to get rid of him for Cap Space ……. it was Krieder , just had a i guess you can call a down season, still put up 23 goals , barely had any assists but the whole team had a bad year and he just came off a 39 goals season and 52 before that !!!!
He has crazy strength, size , speed, BEST NET FRONT GUY IN THE NHL !!!! DEFLECTIONS , TAP IN'S, PP , … PK ….
and in a decent salary at $7.5 millon …. Hard to belive we couldn't even get more for him then we did for Ssm Carrick, Carson Soucy , ect ….. I'd rather have a 2nd round pick , then a late 1st rounder that's not going anywhere !!!!!
It's fair to put Drury on the hot seat for going from a President's Trophy winner to missing 2 straight playoffs. But saying that Othmann should have been traded in '23-24…the guy had only played in the NHL for 3 games at that point. Way too early to declare him a bust at the time. That's one of those "hindsight makes me sound like a genius" statements, TBH. And name me an NHL GM who's been working 5+ years, who's hit jackpot on every first round pick. NOBODY gets it right in the draft all the time.
The Rangers had their window. They weren't good enough to beat TB or Fla. He went for it with Kane and Tarasenko it didn't work. Dumping Goodrow was the beginning of the end with this group. They all got but hurt over the loss of their friend. Boo hoo! I'm not letting Drury off the hook but let's face it. They weren't good enough to win the cup.
Traded a stable full of NHL'ers for a basket of hope and promises. JT Miller is a baby! Will Borgen got an extension that not even he asked for. Go down the line, all of his moves are trash. The scary part is, he thinks he's good to go. Sullivan wasn't brought in to coast this team to a bottom 3 finish, He was billed as a SAVIOR, now he's a retool artist? It all smells bad as long as Drury is involved. No sense in getting your hopes up, this team is going NOWHERE until he leaves.
