I have had the opportunity to watch a few of the PA Raiders games during the WHL playoffs this year.
What I like about Cootes is that he does two things really well: he does not take any shift off and he makes his teammates better.
Lots of confidence and poise in how he plays. Looking forward to where he winds up this fall.
*Edit: apologies, to clarify, I have watched a number of games on tv / taped. “Victory+” is a really good app for Canadian expats around the world to watch Major Junior hockey.
