#Oilers d’Edmonton #Oilers #LNH #Hockey #Edmonton

Ill believe it when i see it
Knoblauk isn't an NHL caliber coach! You need to roll 4 lines to get everyone into the game and feel they belong! The team wasn't ready to play in how many games? Too many! Plus not holding players accountable for their bad play! If McDavid or Draisaitl think they run the team they need a wake up call too!
I don't like calling for peoples jobs but damn this year is a big setback.
Whatever it takes for McDavid and the city of Edmonton to win the Stanley Cup. Nothing personal, just business. We want to win.
Bowman already gave him a 3yr extension.. as he was so sure that he was a superior coach… sure can pay him for 3 more yrs.. & fire him to be able to argue the players added by GM are fine – but the whole issue was that mgt was simply mistaken in thinking the coach was superior etc….. & by fixing this…. it will become clear that jJackson/sBowman made the right player choices – its just the coach. But lots of evidence the coach has not driven accountability or motivation…. has created confusion w the line blenders… not created effective systems.
I hope and pray you are right. Bowman and Knob have to go, both failed miserably and we need new approach entirely here! Knob's chaotic style of play points clearly to low-IQ hockey that he is teaching. Seen how Avs scored against Min in last game, from the back of their own net with 6+ passes without touching the icerink-edge? Those are studied and trained and not random 'give the keys to the castle to the players and let them figure it out'. When we have the puck in the back of our net, 99% of our attempts are pure chaos and fearful throwing the puck around the net, showing no coaching strategies are ever trained or given by the coach to this team! Like in every other sports team, coaches with high game-IQ, teaches the players all those defensive or offensive schemes, that is reality but a trainer that 2 days after exiting in 1st round (or most interviews) answers with 'eh… I don't know', has too low of a hockey-IQ, period! Bowman made enough huge mistakes and rushed contracts (Fred, Mangia, Jarry, Knob, Bouch, …) that could have saved the Oilers few good M… Or the lack of serious prioritization of goal-tending is also on management.
Fire everybody on the whole Oilers management team especially Jeff Jackson Stan Bowman n Kris Knobloch
The fact both weren't fired 5 minutes before game 6 vs the Ducks ended is more telling, and a failure of the owner. I'm outright changing teams I root for until Katz is out, and the Oilers are in my rear view mirror.
Knoblaugh is doing a pretty good job. He has led the Oilers to two consecutive finals which is an achievement. The team lost them all because their goalies were not as good as their rivals. This year is a disaster because the goalies and the defense are too fragile. Anyway, Knoblauch is still doing a decent job. Firing him can be said as unfair. However, a brand new direction to win may be necessary.
The one common denominator with the Oilers is Daryl Katz. Until he's removed, the Oilers culture won't change.
