Bad game. Defense wasn’t any good and it was not Hart’s night. Offense could not show up.

Anaheim won by flopping but Vegas lost by fishing and taking dumbass penalties. Great push at the end, good on Hertl for finally getting one, but gotta clean up those stretch passes and take some closer passes. Lots to fix but lot can go right back at home. On to the next one.

Not Harts night, but we gotta take less penalties and get a goal from Eichel. Appreciate Hertl scoring at least. Onto the next one.
Not a good game, but love to see Hertl finally getting his goal. Hopefully the boys come out ready for a win in game 5! I’m keeping the reckless optimism alive for now.
Edit to add: I hope Stone’s okay. He really seems to be the heart of the team.

I will never understand how you can go from making great passes and taking great shots one game, to missing passes constantly and passing it directly to the other team more than your own, the next game. I dunno, i’m just sad about a loss that probably didn’t need to be. we’ll get ‘em in the next one. good night everyone! ♥️
Hart needed a better game today. I wish the officiating was better. The ducks get away with bloody murder on some plays. I swear I watch them sumo tackle our boys and no call.
Torterella always looks so intense.
As a fan of another team I feel really bad for torterella teams after a loss. I really hope he doesn’t chew them out in the lockerroom.
Hart decided to remind us all that he has flashes of really good, and also really bad.
It’s comical to me that teams have scouted his glaring blocker-side weakness and put ALL their pucks towards that side. It’s gotta be like 90% of all goals allowed this year have been blocker side on him.

I think it was more on the defense than Hart. Also fuck the hockey sub. Holy fuck are they the most biased group of people ever.

stone’s injury completely changed this series. and why in the actual fuck was saad his replacement?
I think we are still the better team but no stone and the lack of discipline was the killer. Eichal is second on the team in points with 11 but that’s with only 1 goal, I know he was amazing in 23’ and had similar stats but he needs to shoot more. Mitch has been running this team’s offence, feels like everything goes through him and not a lot happens without him. Great to see Hertl get a goal and I hope it gets him going. It feels like just as everything starts to get back in shape we lose Stoner and Hart has a down performance. I still believe in this team being better than the Ducks.
100% need another goal scorer out there. Put in Bowman.
Truly don’t understand watching this game and reading this sub repeat « wasn’t Hart’s night ». There were several games throughout the year where goaltending was the difference, this wasn’t one of them.
There was a weird bounce, a shit load of penalties (again), dog shit no calls (again), no finishing on offense, and a lot of defensive breakdowns (again).
Well that’s too bad, but it’s not like it was a blowout.
Eichel can’t turn over the puck every time he touches it
The positives: Hertl finally scored. The score was closer than the game felt. That empty net save.
The negatives: pretty much everything else.
Saad playing 7:20 tonight, Kolesar with 8:22 of ice time. If Torts doesn’t trust these guys then why are they even dressing?? Put in Reilly Smith and Bowman now that the HSK are finished. Gotta figure out a way to generate more offense and roll all four lines effectively.
End of the game was so frustrating. We need a goal to tie the score so let’s just keep passing the puck along the boards instead of trying to get to actual dangerous areas of the ice. Nothing we haven’t seen before though.
Eichel choking at the end with a pass to nobody instead of finding a way to throw the puck on net is why he’ll NEVER wear the C
