You can clearly see that these 2 know nothing about the Leafs needs.
No mention of a defenseman. That's why you dangle Matthews to get yours and another top 5 pick
only in media insane Toronto can we turn an easy decision in a drawn out, 1000 different scenarios. Here is the blunt truth, McKenna's current and furture potential is way ahead of The Swede's!!! Period. What McKenna did as a 16 year old in the OHL was close to McDavid and Crosby, and what he did in the OHL playoffs and memorial cup was on par with Easton Cowan, a player 2 years older than McKenna, and lastly, at Penn State he started "slowly" and at 17 playing with 19, 20 and 21 year old, some of whom already have been drafted and ended up leading the team in scoring by over 20 points. Media is why Toronto Maple Leafs never have "nice things". you need to fill 24 hours a day with verbal diarrhea!!
Perfect Career ending move Matthews hahahaha

Matthews will have to choose one or the other: he can either win Cups, or he can be a Toronto Maple Leaf. He can't do both. The Leafs are cooked and will remain cooked until well past Matthews' retirement.
Imagine thinking youre going to get much more than a bag of pucks to go up to #1 this draft class. The talemt and potential of the concensus top 3 picks is more or less the same its only really a difference is how NHL ready the pick is this coming season.
If Vancouver wants a hometown kid give them Morgan Reilly as well.
Package a deal surrounding their 3rd overall and Filip Hronek.
Mathews nylander they gonna be 30 time to move on JT what 35 or older these drafts they 18 math doesn’t make sense get as much assets as you can either way I believe Mathews is leaving don’t bow down to him trying to make him happy we don’t even know if he ever gonna be healthy again injury prone last 2yrs.. trade picks with Chicago you get a king’s ransom for 1st pick bedard’s cousin plus what he needs a puck controlling winger play making winger.. get their best young d their pick and next yr first pick
take the pick don't trade down.
Trade Mathews before he walks and he will walk
The 1st pick + Reilly for the 3rd pick + Hronek is a fascinating offer
