More proof that playing with McDrai neans you don’t deserve an award according to media. Matt Savoie had more goals, points, and games played than Justin Sourdif while being a key penalty killer, but Sourdif gets Calder votes and he doesn’t. Same with Karlsson, Kapanen, and Minten. Not by much, but still. They’re all in the same range but Savoie outscored all of them, yet got zero votes.

What is the difference between Wallstedt and Dobes that make the Dobes votes well superior? At face value I’d have expected Wallstedt’s far superior numbers to garner him a lot more hype, is there some major flaws to Wallstedt that limits voting interest his way?
