#oilers #nhl #oilershockey #oilersnews #oiler #connormcdavid #mcdavid #edmontonoilers #edmonton #edmontonhockey #yeg #yegedmonton #yegsports #nhl #nhlplayer #nhlplayoffs #nhlpredictions #nhlhockey #nhlpicks #nhlshorts #hockey #hockeyplayer #hockeyteams

  1. Those stupid "AI" images, guys. Why…………… Do you really, really think they add anything of value, aside from attracting the lowest form of intelligence on YT?

  2. How times have changed . Coached him at 10 years old . Hardly said a word now can’t shut him up. Just kidding Jamie you were great kid. Keep up the good work. Fun to see how passionate you are .

  3. So they are replacing him? Oilers management is Bush League. Making it public that you are asking permission to speak with another team's coach and you still have a coach…. 🤔. Don't worry if we don't find anyone else, we'll keep you on 🤷

  4. Sorry, but I must disagree with part of this. Broberg / Holloway ‘issue’ and relieving Bowman of responsibility, assigning it all to Jackson. If you are a management candidate vying for a position in an important position such as this, you are required by your own professional standard to request and expect a full briefing on expectations of the job and the existing landscape you are (if hired) accepting in the organization. If you don’t get this, it can be your failure to make yourself aware. On the other hand, it may be that Jackson did not give full details, or minimized, incorrectly, some of the details. Nevertheless, Bowman had more than a month to get up to speed on the Broberg / Holloway ‘issue’. Given that this issue is one of players that may actually be positive to the organization being retained, Bowman, in the time available, should have known and taken measures to alleviate the possible loss. Therefore, I see Bowman as culpable as Jackson, though, this aside, it points to an overall organizational failure and embarrassment. Noto bene Mr. Katz.

  5. Knobber had nothing to do with the Finals run. The team was already trending upwards when he was gifted that job. Time for a new coach who’s won.

  6. gosh that is very harsh in Vegas- we are not like that in Canada, shame on the US teams. I'm a big fan of unions and happy for Nurse, Frederic, Walman & even jCampbell -really sticking it to the man, who in this case is the fans that pay the bills. Good pt that Knobs did not like to drive accountability or discipline, but great that he has the 3yr extension. Nice that sBowman will get more time, but the magnitude of bad decisions on: Frederic $32m, Walman $49m, Jarry $11m, Mangiopane $8m… so as noted Oil is still 3 key players short!! & trading Nurse/Jarry is dumping problems vs having trade value… so unrealistic? Team speed/PK issues, RNH not top6..

  7. Knobs entire coaching career consisted of playing 2 lines, sometimes just 1. He hasn't developed a single youngster besides Savoie. What 'system' are you gonna develop when its, send Davo out, send Drai out?

  8. The Oil management refuses to admit its errors.
Of course is the coach's fault.
With a suspect goaltending situation at best, a Swiss cheese defence (looking at you Bomber). Other than to chase personal records, not going very far.

  9. Your coach should be able to change up your offensive & defensive strategies to accommodate you game by game or series by series

    Knobs kept everything the same
And it cost the Oilers dearly in the 2025 playoffs against FLA

  10. What’s up with the thumbnail??? I’ve NEVER seen Knob yelling at anyone like that !! 🤦‍♂️

  11. I'm a Chicago bears fan. The oil remind me of the bears like 5 years ago before they cleaned out the entire front office and got their shit together

  12. i said years ago the Oilers were a team that needs a new coach every couple of years and needs to be replaced mid season
fighting it or waiting till the offseason is not embracing who they are
this and holland treatment is BS

  13. I am not sold on Knobloch, but there are other issues that need to be addressed as well. As a team, the Oilers seem to sit back and wait for a few players to carry the ball and score, only to cough one up less than a minute later. There seems to be no killer instinct on this team to keep pushing when they have a team on the run.
