La saison des Ducks d’Anaheim est officiellement terminée après une défaite de 5-1 contre les Golden Knights de Vegas, mettant fin à une série éliminatoire qui a duré un mois de plus que ce à quoi les fans des Ducks sont habitués. The young guys aren’t kids anymore, so I don’t try to re-sign any of the UFA’s. Bring up the even younger guys to join the youngish veterans. Youth with speed and daring.

I’m really proud of our team. It’s been a crazy yo and down season but the boys played hard and achieved their goal/exceeded it. They gained some valuable experience, even in this loss.
I’m still worried about the off season with all of these signings that need to be made. Hoping VB can do it.

Vegas won, but with this series the Ducks pickpocketed their 2nd round pick, which is HILARIOUS.
Gosh freakin frick. I just know the Ducks had it in them to advance at least this round. I was more nervous for the matchup against Colorado or Carolina. I just KNOW they could have advance but as you mentioned I did not see the same chaos I saw they created with the oilers. The power play also got silenced compared to when they played Edmonton. On Dosty: not just hurt, but overworked. When you include the Olympics, he had the most minutes on the ice among all goaltenders, ahead of Vejmelka by roughly a game's margin. This was also his first season as our full-time starter. Buddy is probably exhausted.
Ducks got lucky, playing a garbage Oilers team. Vegas sucks ass and doesn't deserve a conference finals. This playoff format blows. Garbage teams play each other, ensuring a garbage team advances. Golden kotex will get their asses kicked by Colorado…so watch for BS calls in their favor and for them to attempt to injure key Avs players.

I knew the ducks were going to have trouble if they couldn’t switch from the run and gun style to the cycle/grinding playing style. We need to get players like Perry to stand in front of the net and create havoc.

Both Trouba & Carlson had a rough series. So many broken coverages & egregious turnovers. Kreider was nonexistent. Both Terry & Cutter playing with injuries. You could tell they were gassed. But this season was well worth the 8 year wait. I love this team forever and always. Thanks for all your hard work! Cheers 🫶🏻
