Utah and Anaheim not in playoffs last few years no Gudas either,when Marner was with Toronto they always played ,Tampa, Boston or Florida.night and day comparisons.

Marner in 25 Games with Toronto, 5 to 7 had ONE GOAL. He played on the Perimeter. It's as Simple as That.
Ya of course Leaf fans didn't want him Dave. Did you not see him in the 9 years of playoff appearances with the Leafs? He had 5 delay of game penalties for shooting the puck over the glass which seems impossible. The cough ups while he dipsy doodled. The team no showing in deciding games. And ya he wasn't the only one. And now we are begging Matthews to stay because we need him to make the playoffs and no show when the going gets tough. If he didn't have a no move contract I would start a bidding war for him but can't really do that unless he has a few teams he would go to. This era has failed and should have been moved on from a while ago.

After the leafs won the lottery the TSN guys were saying McKenna knows how to handle the spotlight he’s so good at it…this past year was the most attention he’s ever had and he got arrested and at one point was facing 25 years in prison for a bar fight 😂
