I hope the Utah Mammoth look long and hard on the talent they have before taking on a heavy contract of Matthews and the injury bug that he has been having. It is good to see the Mammoth in talks or rumors as all press is good press. It looks like Utah is just a player or two away from contending more in the West.

Sharks dont need an old washed up Dman. They need young guys with lots of upside. The draft has those players. I might consider Eklund and pick #20 this year for Nemec or Byram, but not sure that happens.

However teams with Eichel, Celebrini and Carlsson don't need a 1C, whereas LA losing Kopitar do. So Matty for 6'5 TOR boy Byfield plus LA's 17th (I would pick Morozov, youngest NCAA player, 6'3 C with twenty times lawrence's goals).
