  1. What is the purpose of the long breaks in you're YT videos? You're the only channel I've watched that does this? Edit it out sheesh

  2. So now its Toronto's fans fault that Caufield, Dobson, and Suzuki were dogshit in the playoffs? Why are the Leafs catching strays in this scenario?

  3. I'm a Habs fan but I really have to wonder if Tampa or Buffalo would have had better performances against Carolina. The boys just looked checked out after game 2. No adjustments were seemingly made, or if they were, they made things worse. But it's not all doom and gloom, conference finals is still way ahead of schedule, this off season will be a very interesting one to see how Kent Hughes can improve the roster with some contracts coming off the books. (Laine for sure, and possibly Gallagher who seems like he's considering retiring) Seeing what they decide for their RFAs Dach, Bolduc and Xhekaj will be pretty big news when it comes down the pipe too. Montembault is also a very large question mark at this point.

  4. It's your linemates that can make or break you, Jackson Blake is such a great playmaker and Stanky, I'm not surprised one bit at Taylor Hall's success, one of the best lines in hockey right now, Period !

  5. And how about 5M Domi … complications surgery are cover for VAX injury. If he had a health issue that needed surgery then why did they not get it handled as soon as they were out of the playoffs????? Why did they continue to play him????

I am betting he took his 12th booster and it's f789ed him up.

Have a couple of friends who ended their careers after they injected the Death Shots. One with lung clot – the other ended up with myocarditis – he didn't want the Death Shot but had to get it to fly back to europe for the season. His symptoms started literally hours after Death Shot One.

Russian Roulette… eventually you get a live round in the head. I am betting this is what's happened to Domi.

We will NEVER be told because they want everyone to get their 13th booster… and if they find out it can kill you … nobody boosts no more

If you are still alive and have no damage after 12 then wake the f789 up… do not take any more. You are one of the lucky ones

  6. Leafs can't get anywhere near a 3rd round. Young Habs team took a necessary step -a huge one for such young team.

  7. Leafs lost in the FIRST ROUND repeatedly. Do NOT compare Montreal to that. Plus they are loaded with assets so they can fill gaps and get better – and the younger guys will improve

  8. Team Canada loose to Norway in the brons game (IIHF WC). No medal for Canada, only stuffed animals 😂

  9. Carolina didn't have Chatfiled for the Florida series – and they have added Miller who is arguably their best D man.

They will be a handful. I am picking them over Vegas

  10. I don't buy the tired narrative, they didn't look tired in Game 1 did they. They realized after Game 3 that they were beaten and mentally they gave up and that is hard to take as a Hab fan. Bottom line they are still at least two players away from being legitimate contenders a 2c and a Big physical RD. Glad to see Gallagher on his way out. What Hughes and Gorton do or don't do this Summer will be critical to the Habs moving forward next season Last point the dude on the far right in the split screen is a complete moron.

  11. One of the most important functions of a successful college hockey coach is the ability to recruit top prospects.

I know nothing of why Karl is successful but without a doubt he must be good at recruiting.

This does NOT translate to success in the NHL.

  12. dougie is gone i can care less bout nerd stats watch the game dougie isnt good. im sick and tired of mehta being a nerd wake up buddy mehta would be the dumbest person ever to keep dougie over nemec. if dougie is still a devil im done with this pathetic franchise sorry dougie out.

  13. Fun fact SportsNet: you can edit videos before you post them. One of the cool things you can do is edit out the dead air like the 4 minutes of nothing at the start of the video. Just thought y’all should know about that.

  14. Leafs new coach: Cassidy, Gallant, Knoblauch, Roy, Woodcroft, Carle or Torts? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

  15. What in the maple syrup is going on here. There wasn't Cup talk just Montreal Canadiens chatter. Whole offseason for that focus on the cup people.

  16. The fact some bi-polar, delusional Leafs fans don’t understand what GMs like Hughes and McCrimmons are saying is classic Leafs fans. Your best players obviously matter, but the best TEAMS make/win finals!

If you don’t have all or most of a good to great #1 healthy goalie, #1 D-man, blue line group, lines 3/4 around 3-4 best forwards you don’t go far in playoffs!

McKinnon, Rantanen/Necas, Landeskog have won ZERO playoff series without Makar!

Crosby/Malkin have won zero playoff series the last 8yrs (1 the last 9 yrs)!

McDavid + LD have been one and done or worse all but 3X in 10+ years.

Ovi made it to conf finals or farther 1X in 20+yrs.

THE Great One last 11 years made it to one finals!

Bottom line is it’s very hard to win in playoffs no matter how good your top1-4 best players are without a very good to great team around them! The reality is Leafs TEAM around their best 3-4 players the last 20/30 years hasn’t been good/great enough.

  17. " I usually have to understand it, to decide whether it sounds good, or not good."
Kyper, I never fail to get a good chuckle from your 'down home' wisdom.
And Justin, on the goalies being the deciding factor: a buddy of mine repeats over and over like a parrot, " It's the goalies Stupid." Well, I disagree. Of course you need A1 goaltending, but a soft goal or two is not going to decide this series. It's puck possession, faceoff wins, and rush chances, AND the big one, the PP success. I'm going with Vegas.

  18. Just how self-absorbed are you leaf's fans ?
He wasn't going after the leaf's suoerstars or former superstars – he was going after the notion by leaf's fans, that you have to have a billion points in the playoffs from your top players to have success.
And for a example he brings up the canes' depth on how to build a team.
And you forget, how good Matthews is defensively.
And when you put McDraisaitl on a pedistole all the time, sometimes the oilers probably would have loved a defensive stalwart like Matthews and Marner and McDavid wasn't awesome in game 7 / 6 vs Florida – out of gas – when the whole team hangs on you.
Honestly the canada quote from Kent Hughes is spot on.
All the stardom in canada – Sens too, oh Stuetzle and Tkachuck, why didn't you put one in ?
Well, because the rest of the team didn't either…
