  1. This I can absolutely agree with.
I'm not a big Mcdavid fan but he is probably the best player we've ever seen.

Dude put 1000% skill, talent, heart and soul into EDM.

He definitely deserves a cup but I think he's gonna have to move to get one. 😢

  2. The NHL has lowered the legacy and meaning of these trophies to a candid camera reality show of the awarding of the award.
The Amercanization / ruination of hockey continues.

  3. Hockey is a team sport. Even the greatest player in the world can't single-handedly drag a team through the playoffs when he's skating on a severely injured ankle and his defense is giving up a horrific 50% power-play rate to the Ducks. Frankly, McDavid wasted two precious years of his prime by giving Edmonton's front office another extension. He should have joined the Carolina Hurricanes.

It's the perfect match. Carolina has an elite, ready-made defensive structure, but they’ve always lacked that game-breaking superstar who can create a goal out of thin air when things tighten up. In Edmonton, McDavid has to constantly outscore his own team's brutal defensive mistakes and goaltending breakdowns. In Carolina, his explosive neutral-zone speed would turn them into an instant Stanley Cup dynasty.

  4. He'll win Cups in Edmonton and end up one of the greatest ever to play. It's been a privilege to watch him throughout his pro career …
