He sure has grown up. Think his honesty in the face of the upper levels of management in the organization is so uplifting. His remarks last year regarding the trade of carter will always sit well with me. His constant reference to Darryl is also refreshing. Proud to see this young man take such a humble, honest and encouraging take on the big picture. I’m sure sitting out for months is leading to his lack of cynicism. But the squad reminds me of the knngs circa 2008-2010. Hopefully Blake doesn’t blow it. Like he did when he took the reigns. Stripping Brown was gutless. Watch the 2012 and 2014 Stanley cup videos. Brown’s assertion of leadership through communication and action has never been matched by another king past or present. Rob Blake wanted to sell more jerseys. He is now and has been a traitor. He will always be an Avalanche and shark. And I had season seats from his first game to after being traded.
He’s right, this team is missing at least one good offensive player, a scorer.
Drew is right about what the team needs. They also need a no.2 left defense men.

I love Doughty instead of being bummed the team decided to do a rebuild he’s embraced it and Is excited to go next season. That’s the type of guy you want on your team.

they're heading in the right direction. w/these young dudes and the additions of Danault and Arvidsson. if these youngsters progress as they should? fuckin' lookout in a year or two. ooph. overflowing with talent and more still to come. The next NYR's.
In season 1 of the rebuild the Kings stockpiled the team with draft picks. Season 2 they established a working system. Season 3 they established an identity and earned a playoff spot.
Next season will be the 4rth season. I expect them to start really fine tuning the roster and franchise depth to get ready for the playoffs and a more intense showing.
DD is the key to the defense. Guys like Spence and Durzi are promissing but shouldn't be playing so many minutes right out of the gate. DD in the line up next season will fix that.

I think cal isn’t the goalie so this window of playoffs only goes as far as quick plays like he did or they get another clear number one when quick is done

I'm really excited to see how these young talented players grow now they have a full season, along with a 7 game playoff series under their belt…The Kings organization called upon those young players throughout the season, mostly due to injuries, but others just because they have massive potential to be mainstay stalwarts, i.e. Q. Byfield, A. Kaliyev, And S. Fagimo<–(got sent back to Charlotte after only playing a few games, but wasn't really given a whole lot of opportunities with a very low ice-time average…But he did show flashes of his true offensive potential, along with his speed with skating abilities)… I'm really excited to see a fully healthy, 1st/2nd, or at least a 3rd liner to start the season, Q. Byfield…He has MASSIVE potential and talent…The guy is the fastest 6'-4" skater I have ever seen, his puck handling and awareness, along with his agility, is ridiculously unfair to opposing teams forechecking…BUT…That only can/will be shown, only if the Kings organization fully pulls the trigger on him and gives him the full opportunity to advance up the lines, beyond the 4th line, with only 8-12 minutes of ice-time…And I fully understand why they're nervous about advancing him too fast, with his early career injuries, and nagging knee issues, but he should be at full strength come next season, SO LOOK THE F*** OUT!!! BYFIELD IS COMING!!! Another player I'm excited about is Arthur Kaliyev…He showed flashes of his true potential, and nack for being in the right place, at the right time, as he knows where the best goal scoring areas are, when the offense is pressing, and showed that he can snipe shots too… Either way, I'm really excited for the Kings organization as a whole, not only with the massive potential of the young core of talented players, but also where the next step for the Kings takes them…I mean, if they can go through the adversity they went through early on in the season, still make the playoffs, and almost beat a VERY TALENTED and very good Oilers team…Then I can't wait to see where a fully healthy Kings team can take them…GKG!!!
Drew did throw Peterson under the bus when talking about Quick lol Peterson isn't the future,Blake needs to realize this and trade him for cap relief.
I hope and look forward to any books these guys put out. Imagine the stories.

I was really upset when Drew Doughty got hurt from the knee to knee from Dallas Stars without the guy even getting suspended. Then I think it was Boston Bruins game he hurt himself. I was for trading him instead of signing him to that contract. I think he has a really cool Beagle though he is not putting up Makar or Roman Josi type numbers to handle that contract more akin to Erik IR Karlsson. Maybe he will play 50 games this year? That would be really good right? Team seemed fine without him if they can trade him like Eichel from Buffalo who are doing vastly betting with Tuch along with Krebs along with 1st rounder and cap. Maybe they can finish 4th then its a 5 or 10 year rebuild without any young players who are top 6 so a decade at best.

Huge fixes to special teams, healthy D, and maybe a touch of skill insertion regarding the forwards and I think Kings might be real good next season.
