  1. He was my first favorite player in the 80s. Past his prime, but still flashes of brilliance. Travelled to a nordiques mtl playoff game in 1984. Habs won 2-1 with Lafleur assist. Saw him several times in Harrford which was an hour from my home. Will never forget a goal I wish was in YouTube in the civic center. He roared up the ice, then abruptly stopped by the blue Line and ripped a slap shot right in the net making the goalie look stupid, and Guy all the more amazing. Best single memory for me on Lafleur.

  2. Q: "Aren't you the best"
    A: "So far"

Classic statement from a classy guy who knew that some day (not many) someone would come along and make him 2nd best. But to those who witnessed his greatness he will always be amazing.

  3. Such a great player hated him when he played the Islanders lol RIP GUY, one of the best

  5. I think LaFleur was the most graceful player ever! Amazing that as soon as he took the helmet off, his career soared!

  6. Was my hero growing up I got to see them win cup after cup as a child. He was the last of the old school pre Gretzky days. RiP The Flower

  7. RIP Guy, thank you for inspiring while you were on this earth, im sure you are having a blast catching up with the Rocket, Beliveau, and the other greats while your getting use to having your body back up there in heaven.

  8. Hockey "Heaven" is more blessed with the addition of #10 Guy LaFleur is a way better place now RIP

  9. I remember how Lafleur skated like the wind. He was a class act, the only bad thing he did was smoke cigarettes.

  10. Поднять свитер под своды арены,спустя несколько дней после смерти…Странно.. Нужно было эту церемонию провести при жизни этого великого хоккеиста,чтобы он присутствовал и порадовался…R.I.P. великий Ги…

  11. My dad used to watch him growing up, and I still stand this today that every time I watch this, I tear up!

  12. Il était un gagnant et il fière d avoir joué pour le club de hockey Les Canadiens de Montréal.
    Merci Guy!!!

  13. Can’t believe the disrespect by the NHL fixing this game to help the other team win. They didn’t do that when we faced Vancouver when we did Béliveau night. They let us play.

  14. Rip Guy NHL Have lost some of the greats in hockey. Clark Gillies, Mike Bossy, Bob Plager😢 May They RIP😢

  15. No one today can do what Gretzky, Lafleur, Richard, Roy, and more did, you can score 60 goals, but that doesn’t make you a legend, it’s your spirit, and todays players don’t have that same spirit like the old players
