Great to see McLeod signed. And also Great that he took a team friendly salary. Team minded in a team game is the best thing to have.
Was willing to take half of what he was worth in order to make the cap work for a year. Great young talent who I hope is an Oiler for life. Hopefully he works his ass off and ends up making 3 times as much next year.
Can you imagine that Darnell Nurse makes 9.25 per, it's absolutely disgusting. He's MAYBE worth half that. And here's this kid just happy to make something work, and he's already a better player than Nurse.

Nice to hear that Oilers were able to sign a up and coming player like Ryan McLeod to a deal that both parties are happy with. And shows how much he wants to be a part of this group. And is eager to work hard to get better for himself and to work hard to try to make the Oilers a better team as well. He has set goals for himself like having a good year. So we know he will be playing hard all season long. To perhaps establish himself as more than just being in a number 9 line player. I think he will be a good fit for the Oilers. Glad to see him back.
So happy he resigned and I’m hoping Holland finds the way to give this kid more term and money !…he’s a keeper for sure!
