    I just hope we can keep Zub… UFA. I expect a big season from him in his final contract year playing with Chabot.

    Norris, Batherson, Tkachuk, DeBrincat, Chabot, Giroux, Stutzle, Sanderson. I know you guys are more hyped about Stuzle but I think he needs a bit more time. I hope Bath stays healthy and I think he will have a great season!

    Just watch the You Tube highlight video of Pinto's first NHL game. Right out of the box, he looks like the smartest player on the ice.

    What’s a good/successful season for Cam Talbot? Good question, Ross. I don’t think there’s huge expectations for him. I think if he plays 30-40 games, and wins half of them, then that’s a good season for him personally, and for us as a team.

    My expectations for Forsberg are slightly higher. Just because he’s coming of such a positive season. Talbot is the new guy, and he gets a slightly longer leash imo. But for Forsberg, if he plays 40+ games and wins 25+, I’d be happy. That could give us around 45 wins. Add some pity points from post-regulation losses, and we’re looking at around 100-105 points on the year for the Sens. And that would be a VERY good year for the Sens if you ask me.

    Hurts to have Batherson so low, especially if he can produce at the same pace as last year. I just don’t see who he knocks off.

    Alright, lads and lasses! Tier two cut and keep.

    If I had to cut one: Talbot. Even though we lack depth at G, I feel like a 1B caliber goalie could be replaced via trade or waivers.

    If I could only keep one: Ridly Greig. Cuz I love that mother trucker! Honourable mention to Pinto… and Zub. Lol

    4 Batherson (very friendly contract)
    5 Sanderson
    6 Norris
    7 DeBrincat (lower cuz of lack of term)
    8 Giroux

    Edit: Sandy and Norris pretty much tied. Gave Sandy the slight edge due to our greater depth at forward. So the D get slightly more value in a tie situation.

    Talbot has something to prove and so does Shane Pinto. Shane is better than Caufield and he will prove it this year.

    When Ross mentioned the Gagarin cup, I could have sworn I heard Gangrene cup. Not the most prestigious award to win!!

    Ridly IS untouchable. The only question is where do we put him in the lineup. I love pinto too, but because he’s coming off that big injury I’d put him behind Grieg.

    Jared Ross came out of Huntsville and played 13 NHL games for the flyers. Only other alumn to play in the NHL.
