Trade for one of Reimer, S.Martin, or Lehner.
You need two new options.

Dudes, Game six Tampa, who needs a goalie when the team plays like that. I love the Leafs but they area mile away from a cup. Do you seriously think Nylander would have even survived the game last night and if he played for Tampa, he would not have dressed. Blocking shots and taking the man. Others on this list are Holl, Lilegren, Engvall, Michahev. Other than Lilegren, the other three were unwilling to do what was needed to be done to win. True we need a goalie, but we need a Brendan Shannahan, or six, for the love of the baby Jesus. The Leafs need a complete team of Desire to Compete. Not 75% worth. Dubas, smarten up, you are bright, but get in the game. JESUS!!!!!!
If you want husso you can’t allow break always because husso’s glove is very very leaky which is what was killing the blues this playoffs because every time they gave a break away it was almost a guaranteed goal with husso in net.

Do you think UFA goalies like Fluery or Husso, hold off until all the coaching vacancies get filled so they know what the coaches system will be? And depending on the Colorado/Tampa outcome, does Colorado trade off one of their goalies too depending on what their outcome is? Would a UFA goalie say I want to hold off on Toronto or Edmonton until they see how the other teams shake out, since they hold the sway of who they want to go to maybe for less cash.
Maybe this can work: Murray is bought out and the Leafs sign him on a cheap deal. In the meantime, sign Campbell and trade Mrazek. If they can get Campbell at 5.0-5.2 and Murray at 1.0 or under (1 year deal), I would be comfortable with that! Of course, just getting rid of Mrazek will cost them a prospect, which sucks.
I don’t think Korn was ever on the Leafs, he was on the Sabres from 1990-1998, the Preds from 1998-2014, the Caps from 2014-2018, and the Isles from 2018-2022. Never on the Leafs, and since 2017 he’s been a director of player development and not a goalie coach, and while from 2017-2021 he was the director of goaltending, he didn’t have a role in goaltending in 21-22.
Fleury going back to the Pens is a possibility so desmith wouldn’t be needed

Leafs require more attention than goaltending, as most are aware. Leafs need more players who will do whatever it takes to win. They have lots of skill, just not enough of the intangible will to win factor. Until that gets addressed, they will be observing from the sidelines.

Andy Moog would be my pick for the Leafs Next Goalie Coach considering he was responsible for being the guy who made Marty Turco become Marty Turco and he is a guy who has been through everything as an NHL goalie. As for goalies who I'd want if Soupy doesn't get resigned ( Through I believe he is coming back and that Mrazek will be traded in time to sign that deal ) would be the following
– Carter Hart ( Throw Robertson, Holl and Kerfoot over there )
– MacKenzie Blackwood ( I think he is completely done with NJ )
– James Reimer ( SJ has Kakkohen and Hill as their main two goalies plus Wallstedt as a developing prospect so Reimer is on the outs and is cheap )
– Robin Lehner ( Might be completely done with Vegas considering they tried to get him to play with a massive shoulder injury and he is a genuine spokesperson for Mental Health support he seems like the type of guy the Leafs would like to have on their roster )
– Ilya Sorokin ( seems out of realm but the kid is extremely talented and young and the Isles are in between a rebuild or retool probably won't happen but it'll be nice )
This would be hilarious but completely out of realm insane but the Leafs get both Ilya Samsonov and Alex Georgiev on 1 yr deals to test out both goalies and they see who has the " IT " factor at the end of the year and the one who doesn't show up gets let go and Kallgren takes his place as the permanent 1B the following season
Mrazek and Toronto’s 3rd to Buffalo for their 5th round pick. Then Holl to Ottawa for Murray. Toronto then trades it’s 1st for Anaheim 2nd and 4th to get picks back

I thought Toronto was in love with "Soupy" and the tandem of Mrazek/Campbell was "far superior" to Smith/Koskinen……Well look at us now. Mikko is as good as gone. Mrazek is even more injury prone than 40 year old Smith. And things seem iffy with Soupy….How in the world did old man Smitty , manage to out perform Johnathan Quick AND "Vezina Candidate" Markstrom?….How on Earth did the Oiler's manage to get to the 3rd round?….Considering the Oilers were "supposed to get" Varlamov, and he couldn't even get the Isles to the playoffs….We were "stupid not to go get Fleury, no matter what the cost."….and Minnesota didn't get out of the first round…..The Oilers "lost out on the Markstrom sweepstakes" (actual flames media quote) and we all saw what happened head to head vs Smitty….We all saw Freddy and Raanta head to Carolina, prove everyone wrong. They won the Jenning's, and then prove everyone correct by both getting injured, true to form……So maybe we all have to admit it…..No one has a clue about goaltending and we are all just guessing? Stuart Skinner's last NHL start was a shutout….So the Oiler's sent him down and never brought him back?…haha….Maybe David Ayer's makes about as much sense as anything?

Not much love for Kallgren. I was kinda impressed with Kallgren, considering he was thrown in there and held his own. I'm not sure playing in the AHL has much to offer the guy. I think he's still got much to learn, but I think he's only going to learn it at the NHL level…. better the Kallgren you know than the one you don't.
PM going to DET for picks to free up space. Possibly Kerfoot also for more space. All anyone has to do is look how FA performed in CAR (the land of endless top notch defenceman) and how Nej did when he went to DET (very bad) TO, your issue is not your GT coach, it is that you have maybe top 15 ranked overall calibre of D. This is different than all the other 'metrics' this is what shows up with Hedman and co down the line, the stuff that basically doesn't meet the sheet. Leafs will find some space, but they will lose even MORE picks, but, this is fine, because it won't be KD's issue, it will be for the next GM, stuck in both CAP and Pick hell for years. The next rebuild is already happening, TML fans just don't see it. KD is not the boss, it is the CAP, then KD. It is so hard not to be able to replace higher priced proven talent (Like Hyman or whoever) with cheaper talent… when you deal all your picks. The wheeling and dealing of last 2 years is just astonishing. The picks given for the production 2 years ago is just out of control. This guy was the easiest guy to fire. KD not gonna fire himself, can't get out of MR deal and cap hell with no picks. You made your bed KD, thus the beds of all TML fans.
Leafs will sign Mike Smith to a 2 year deal in the offseason and Campbell will sign with Edmonton.
If the Canucks have a fire sale this summer, maybe Leafs could pickup Demko. Would cost alot (think Nylander, Sandin and a 1st), but would solve their goaltending woes.
Blackwood is RFA so you have to trade to get him, Devils also has huge goaltending issues basically it's main reason they sucked.
The current trend in goaltenders is they must be huge yet they are then coached to play on their knees ! It's a contradiction. In the past tall goalies (Dryden) basically used the size advantage to stay upright, cut angles and going down was a last resort. Butterfly technique was for smaller, more agile goalies. Both styles are valid but not one over the other.
Campbell should take a discount in stay if he wants a chance to start and win. All the other good teams have their goalies pretty much.
If Campbell walks, the Leafs are going to gamble on guys like Georgiev and Comrie. They will see another first round exit and then management will repeat the same faith-based horseshit about the competence of the "core."
They need Perry's and Cirelli's. And Hedman's.

Not going to lie, you guys come across as hypocrites for being "woke" on everything besides advertising gambling in these videos. There are teenagers and kids who watch your videos and will think it's okay to go and gamble. This has already destroyed people in the UK (with how intertwined soccer and sports betting is) and I'm sad to see it repeating itself in Canada. Shame on all of you, Sportsnet, TSN, these podcasts, etc.
So to recap your goalie picks and where they should go: any bad goalie should go to the oilers, the good ones go to Toronto….
How about someone who has actually won something? I would target a Fleury, Holtby, Quick, or Binnington. They need someone on that team whose resume includes something other than 1st round losses.
