I have a feeling they'll do their usual and come out flat in the first game, Calgary takes game 1 but the rest of the series is great.

This series is going to be a hot mess. A bunch of 7-5 games. What concerns me for Edmonton is Draisaitl has three separate injuries, with one being serious. What concerns me with Calgary is they have two key defensemen who could be injured. This is going to be a war and Edmonton needs to play tough. You look at a guy like Jesse Puljujarvi, who might be the biggest player on the ice, and he doesn't do anything physical. If he can be a brute, it will make a difference. I have no faith in either goalie in this series, so that doesn't matter to me. Edmonton has the better coach. No one on the planet is on Connor's level right now, so I suspect the Flames will take runs at McDavid's knees the whole time. My biggest fear in this serious is actually the Sportsnet crew, and how much they will be cheering for the Flames. High likelihood Cassie will call 8-10 penalties against Edmonton per period.

Dude on the right is such a oiler Homer. 5:28 he talks highly about Edmonton being able to solve Quick in game 7 meanwhile the Flames dealt with Oettinger who literally had a historic game and series. Biased reporting in sports and news is so ridiculous and these people shouldn't be reporters

Oilers could probably exploit Ritchie and suck him in and draw penalties on him.
If the refs don't call penalties….the fix is in.
The Oilers should think about the 9-4 loss they suffered…and use that as motivation to kick the Flames' buttockseeessss!

As underdogs in this series, the Oilers should focus on shutting down the Flames big guns. Trap them into submission and generate chances on the counterattack. The Oilers need to have the mindset that the Flames forwards are better than them and do whatever it takes to shut them down. A humble attitude will go a long way to ensure the Oilers stay focused for the entire 60 minutes and for the entire series. Go Oilers go! Let's send the Calgary (Valerie Plumwood) Flames packing.
